Demand for power has been increasing day by day depending on the increase in the world’s population and industrialization while interest in clean and unfailing (renewable) power resources due to the pressures caused by the risk of depletion for fossil fuels as well as increasing awareness of environment.

Wind power has become a power resource, which is considered positively by not only developed countries but also developing countries. Therefore, the idea about benefiting from wind power and installing wind turbines or wind farms has been becoming more popular in our country as well as across the world. Number of the projects for wind power stations intended for the future is increasing rapidly.

The first wind power plant was built in 1997 in Çeşme under the scope of the works, which were implemented according to this outline. LV, MV and electrical substructure of this power station, which consists of three turbines and whose capacity is 1.8 MW, is among our experiences in the past. Then, works relating to power station constructions have increased. Also, we completed basic grounding system for the concrete tower, which will be the first concrete tower practice in our country, of the power plant, which is being constructed in Soma and will have a total power of 140.6 MW when it is completed.
